Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Drive to Machha Khola (870 m)

8–9 hr scenic drive via the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki rivers.

Day 2 — Machha Khola → Jagat (1,340 m)

~15 km. Stone-paved village at the Manaslu Conservation Area gate.

Day 3 — Jagat → Deng (1,860 m)

~19 km. Gorges, mani walls, Tibetan chortens.

Day 4 — Deng → Namrung (2,630 m)

~19 km. Nubri Valley, Tibetan-style houses.

Day 5 — Namrung → Shyala → Samagaun (3,530 m)

Jaw-dropping Manaslu views.

Day 6 — Samagaun → acclimatization

Birendra Lake (3,650 m) or Manaslu Base Camp (4,800 m).

Day 7 — Samagaun → Samdo (3,860 m)

~7 km. Windswept village 20 km from Tibet.

Day 8 — Samdo → Dharamsala / Larkya Phedi (4,460 m)

~6 km. Last stop before the pass.

Day 9 — Larkya La (5,160 m) → Bimthang (3,590 m)

~22 km. The big crossing.

Day 10 — Bimthang → Goa

~16 km. Peaceful descent through forests.

Day 11 — Goa → Tilije → Drive to Pokhara

Final trek then lakeside celebration.
